ABOUT US
New Bethany United Church of Christ was organized under the name Muddy Cross Christian Church in 1876. Our forefathers conducted services of praise and fellowship here for ninety-five years. On September 29, 1968 a new church was built at the present location and named Bethany Christian Church. After an addition was added to this newer facility, our church was renamed New Bethany Christian Church. Here we stand as fabric of hope, love, joy, peace, kindness, and faithfulness produced by the Holy Spirit.

LEADING LADY ETHEL DELORES JONES
Pastor Douglas L. Jones Sr. began his pastoralship on March 29th, 2004 with Leading Lady Ethel Delores Jones. Under Pastor Jones leadership, the church has established a Greeters/Transportation ministry to serve the congregation and the members of the community. He has led the church through building renovations and purchases have been made to bring aid to the many task of the church. The church has purchased a new van, more efficient printers, a new organ, and more purchases are under review to help push the mission forward.
